Waka Di Ume - An Oasis Of Quiet And Serenity

The Waka di Ume is part of the local Waka chain of small luxury resorts. The hotel is built in the midst of terraced padi fields and the views are second only to the Sayan ridge. It is a pity that this part of Ubud is slowly becoming overbuilt. Each villa is decorated in Waka style and are comfortable, modern and elegant. There is heavy use of local timbre with the swimming pool boasting good views of the lush green landscape. Do note that the hotel may be too peaceful and quiet for some. Central Ubud is not far away and the free hotel shuttle will pick you up and drop you off. Breakfasts are, unfortunately, rather bland. In this price range, guests can expect, and should, be given more.

A very different resort. An oasis of quiet and serenity, only minutes from the hustle and bustle of Ubud, the cultural and artistic heart of Bali. You will stay in one of the sixteen individualistic and distinctive dwelling units, scattered down the gentle flanked by rice fields. Waka di Ume is a very different resort. A place to relax, to luxuriate, to escape the rush and noise of the outside world and to immerse yourself in quiet and comfort.
